The Nujiz audio volume tool lets you make a recording quieter or louder without installing desktop audio-editing software. You can set the volume from 10% to 300%, process the audio, and download the result as an MP3 file.
The control uses a percentage relative to the original audio level. A setting of 100% represents the base volume factor. Values below 100% reduce the level, while values above 100% increase it.
Increasing the level can be useful when speech was recorded too quietly, when a clip is noticeably softer than required, or when preparing audio for another project. A moderate increase is often a useful starting point before listening to the processed result.
You can reduce the level when a recording is louder than needed or when you want the audio to be less prominent in another project. Any value below 100% lowers the volume, with the control allowing settings down to 10%.
No. Increasing volume changes the amplitude of the audio signal; it does not automatically improve recording quality. Noise or distortion already present in the source may become more noticeable, and a large increase can cause clipping or distortion in audio that is already loud.
This tool is designed specifically to change the audio level. It does not remove background noise, reconstruct a recording, or perform advanced loudness normalization. If your goal is simply to make a recording louder or quieter, the percentage control provides a direct way to do that.
After applying the selected volume level, Nujiz re-encodes the processed result as an MP3 file. The output format may therefore be different from the format of the source file you uploaded.
The audio file is temporarily sent to the Nujiz server for processing with FFmpeg. Temporary processing files are removed after the result is created. You do not need to install FFmpeg or desktop audio-editing software on your device.
The tool accepts values from 10% to 300%.
A setting of 100% represents the base volume factor without an increase or decrease.
The volume slider starts at 120%.
Yes. Select any value below 100% to reduce the audio level.
No. The tool changes the audio signal level; it is not a noise-removal tool.
The processed result is created as an MP3 file.
